Taxi drivers 'abused' by angry customers for 'taking the long way round' in Hull



Taxi drivers say they are being abused by customers who believe they are being taken the "long way round" after changes to the layout of Ferensway.
The major works on Ferensway saw the previous right hand turn out of Paragon Interchange exit blocked, meaning taxis are now having to drive "completely around" the city centre to get to their destination.
Black cab drivers had threatened to strike for two hours today, but have postponed the action for a week after Hull City Council agreed to meet them on Friday.
