Tamworth grandmother calls for help to find heroes

A Tamworth grandmother left covered in blood in the middle of a busy town road has issued a desperate plea to trace two men who stopped to help her.
Betty Douglas (81) suffered black eyes and severe bruising and spent two days in hospital after the incident.
She was injured when she fell as she crossed the Glascote Road and was left unable to move.
As she lay terrified amidst the traffic, with blood trickling into her eyes, two passers-by rushed to her aid, helping her to safety and staying with her until an ambulance arrived.
