Tamworth FC's artificial pitch has placed club in 'heart of community'

TAMWORTH FC's artificial pitch is helping place the club at the 'heart of the community'.
That is the view of the club's general manager George Delves as the 3G pitch at the Lamb enters its fourth month in operation.
“We've got four Tamworth Junior League clubs who are based at the club now," said Delves. “St Johns, Whittington, Amington Juniors and Amington Diamonds. Then there is our own academy too.
“We have two five-a-side Leisure Leagues running and we get a lot of one-off bookings and charity games.
