Tale of two EUs - Richest nations pumped with £277BN while poor suffer
 

Just EIGHT per cent of the multi-billion pound pot has been pumped into the EU's poorest 13 nations, while western Europe's richest nations, including Germany and France, raked in the cash.
Italy and Spain, whose economies are worth an estimated £1890bn and £1220bn respectively, received most of the money to plough into building projects and business.
The plan, which was launched last year, has tried to draw as much private investment as possible, but is covered by the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI) - which uses £14bn of public money out of the EU's budget.
