Sutton Coldfield to have first mayor for 42 years
 

The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield will get its first mayor for 42 years when its fledgling parish council meets for the first time following last week's election.
And the councillor lined up to don the official chain of office is Conservative Charlotte Hodivala - a mum-of-two from Walmley.
The last dedicated Mayor of Sutton Coldfield was Donald Mills who held the office until 1974 - the year Sutton Coldfield stopped being a Borough and was absorbed into Birmingham City Council's boundary.
