Surjit Singh Chhokar murder accused told sister he 'got away with the perfect murder'
 

THE man on trial for killing Surjit Singh Chhokar told his sister he had “got away with the perfect murder”, jurors heard yesterday.
Margaret Chisholm claimed Ronnie Coulter made the confession after he was cleared at a previous trial in 1999.
She said Coulter came to her house after the verdict, sat on the living room floor and said: ‘I’ve just got away with the perfect murder.’”
He allegedly added: “He took one off me so I took one off him.”
Margaret said she believed he was talking about God and his baby daughter, who was stillborn.
