Superb 'dash cam' captures train's journey into Paragon Station in 1957



This footage was taken way back in 1957 before we all had our own dash cams.
But this fascinating footage, filmed like a dash cam today, captures a trip into Paragon Station 60 years ago.
The footage, above, is courtesy of East Riding Archives, and is published on East Riding Council's YouTube account.
According to the video's YouTube description, diesel trains began operating on the Hull/Withernsea line on January 7, 1957, marking the end of the steam era and the beginning of diesel locomotion on this route.
