Sunderland Stagecoach drivers cancel four planned strikes in city

Strikes planned by bus drivers in Sunderland over a pay row have now been cancelled. Members of the GMB union who work for operator Stagecoach in Sunderland were set to stage four 24-hour walkouts, starting from Monday.

The strikes would have taken place over four successive Mondays - with Stagecoach reassuring customers that bus services would run as normal.
