Sunderland claimant count rises by more than 300 year-on-year



The number of people looking for work in Sunderland has risen by more than 300 in the last year.
In the city there were 5,555 people receiving out of work benefits, including Jobseeker’s Allowance and Universal Credit, compared to 5,250 in September last year.
