Stunning footage of our planet from 250 miles up as Sony reveals the first footage from a new 4K camera attached to the outside of the space station



It is a stunning view of our planet from 250 miles up.
Sony has revealed it worked with the the Japanese space agency JAXA to install a new camera system including the firm's α7S II, on the International Space Station (ISS)'s Japanese Experiment Module, KIBO.
The camera system, the only one to be mounted outside the station, is controlled from the earth via remote control and transmits image data.
