Student with anxiety "lived in constant fear her mum might die"



A student crippled by fear that her mum would die has opened up about her battle with anxiety.
Rosie Steele, 21, a third-year student at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), urged anyone with mental health issues not to be ashamed of seeking help.
She said cognitive behavioural therapy had “changed her life”, helping her to overcome basic fears like simply answering the phone and then getting into university.
She shared her story ahead of World Mental Health Day on Tuesday, October 10, as part of an ECHO series this week in partnership with the MIND charity.
