Stuart Broad optimistic England can turn around first Ashes Test despite Steve Smith heroics for Australia



Stuart Broad believes England's fate remains in their own hands after a chastening third day of the opening Ashes Test and also played down fitness concerns surrounding James Anderson.
Steve Smith's epic 141 not out, a masterful innings compiled over 326 deliveries and more than eight and a half hours, lifted Australia to 328 all out and a slender 26-run first-innings lead.
