Striking Derby school support staff vow to fight on as new action is planned
 

More than 200 striking school support staff have taken their fight for fair pay to the doorsteps of a Derby suburb.
They canvassed householders living in the Boulton ward – where the leader of Derby City Council, Ranjit Banwait, is the councillor – and delivered leaflets explaining their strike action.
The striking staff, who have been locked in a dispute with the council since terms of their pay conditions were changed last year, were taking part in their fourth day of action this term.
