The 57-year-old This Morning favourite came under fire from the BBC judges for being out of time with her professional partner Anton du Beke, 51, during the routine.
Performing the elegant ballroom dance to the soundtrack of Mack the Knife, Ruth Langsford was called out by head judge Shirley Ballas 57, who complained: "It is called the slow Foxtrot and there were so many quicks.
"I think I only counted one slow," she continued. "It looked like a Quickstep."
