Streets ahead of the competition: Artist spends 104 hours painstakingly carving a map of London from a piece of drawing paper

Thanks to Google Maps, the standard A-Z is no longer a staple when navigating around London.
But one artist is still so enamored with the traditional style of map that he recently spent 104 hours painstakingly carving a version out of paper.
Nils Westergard from Richmond, Virginia, is an artist and filmmaker with the patience of a saint.
He spent the equivalent of four days and nights slicing tiny holes into a large piece of 117lb drawing paper.
The result is a perfect map of the capital of England.
