Stranded sea cadets finally find safe haven after Singapore allows their ship to dock
 

FOUR officer cadets from a Scottish college who found themselves stranded at sea have finally landed on dry land after their ship docked in Singapore.
The cadets - Ruaridh Hanna, David Gorniak, Graeme Deacon and Gavin McPhail – from Clyde Marine Training had been on a placement with South Korean company Hanjin Shipping as part of their City of Glasgow College course when the firm went bust.
Thousands of seafarers were affected as ports around the world refused to allow Hanjin ships to dock.
