Storm's Bru-ing as health campaigners want Irn Bru and other fizzy drinks to be 'as unacceptable as smoking'
 

CAMPAIGNERS are calling for soft drinks such as Irn-Bru to be made as unacceptable as smoking.
Obesity Action Scotland, Cancer Research UK and academics claim the UK Government's upcoming sugar tax does not go far enough.
They are calling for a ban on billboard ads and sponsorship deals with soft drink companies.
The calls come as Irn-Bru makers AG Barr announced it was likely they would have to cut 10 per cent of their workforce as a result of the sugar tax.
But experts have said much more should be done to tackle the popularity of soft drinks and make them less socially acceptable.... read more
