Ryan Shawcross hopes Stoke City are finally winning a long-running battle against major injuries – as Joe Allen limped out of international action.
Stoke have been beset by bad luck over the past two seasons as almost all key men have been struck down by a combination of twists, tears, breaks and fractures.
The worm seems to have started to turn – and even Jack Butland could be back in action before the end of October.
