Joe Allen is relishing his new attacking role at Stoke – and hopes his goal burst is not just a short-term bonus.
The all-action summer signing has been a shining light through the Potters' difficult start to the season.
And that has continued in the last two matches, when he has been asked to fill the number 10 spot behind Wilfried Bony – and come up with two valuable goals.
