Stockton landlady aims to give Teesside squaddies overseas some Christmas cheer!
 

Teesside soldiers can look forward to some Christmas cheer thanks to a Stockton landlady’s latest fundraising challenge.
Julie Cooper, who runs the Don Bar in Stockton, is urging residents to fill a shoe box with goodies and toiletries to send to our armed forces personnel deployed overseas.
The 100 Shoe Box Challenge is just the latest fundraising drive from Julie, who works tirelessly to raise thousands of pounds for the likes of The Royal British Legion and other armed forces charities.
And for the second year running Julie has been nominated for a Gazette Community Champions Award.... read more
