Stockton Council to decide which schools will get share of £31m



How £31m funding will be spent in Stockton schools and nurseries will be considered by councillors next week.
Stockton Council has secured the fourth highest “basic need” funding allocation in the UK.
Investment proposals are due to be considered by Stockton Council’s cabinet on Thursday, October 6.
They include the expansion of Northfield School and Sports College, Our Lady and St Bede’s Catholic Academy, Bishopsgarth School, Ian Ramsey CE Academy, and All Saints CE Academy.
It is also proposed the council works with Egglescliffe School to bring forward a much needed rebuild.
