Stewartry missed out in another bruising local derby at Annan.
The Blacks were not without chances of coming out on top though and were at one time early in the match seven points ahead.
But over the 80 Annnan were a wee bit more streetwise to earn a bonus point win.
It was Stewartry’s first visit to Violetbank for a couple of seasons and they started with the slope and wind advantage.
Annan cleared the danger after a Danny Boyd chip ahead to their try line but TJ McCarney stormed back to the home 22 where a high tackle penalty saw th pressure maintained with a kick to the corner.
