Steve McClaren targeting promotion after returning to Derby: 'My ultimate aspiration is to take the club back to the Premier League'



Derby's new manager Steve McClaren is targeting promotion to the Premier League after his return to the Championship outfit was confirmed on Wednesday. 
McClaren, who was sacked by Newcastle last season, has returned to the club whom he led to the Championship play-off final in 2014. 
The former England manager succeeds Nigel Pearson, who left the club after just four months in charge.
