Stapleford Co-op to close with 35 jobs at risk
 

A Nottinghamshire town's biggest supermarket will shut up shop for the final time - with 35 jobs at risk.
The Co-op in Stapleford is to close on November 19 as part of the company's review of its existing stores.
Staff at the shop in Derby Road were put into consultation on Monday and the company hopes some alternative positions will be found, but said it is too early to know exactly how many of the 35 employees will lose their jobs.
Stapleford councillor Richard MacRae said the loss of the store is a big problem for the town.
