Staffordshire Police arrest two men after armed police called to Hanley Tesco Car Park

Two men have been arrested after armed police swooped on a supermarket car park.
Police were called to the car park of the Tesco in Hanley shortly after 6pm this evening after being contacted by a member of the public about two men in possession of a firearm.
Armed officers arrived at the scene but left after an extensive search failed to trace the two men.
Police were then contacted again after receiving reports the men had returned to their vehicle on the supermarket car park.
