Staffordshire councils get £250k to share buildings and sell off sites



More than £250,000 of Government cash is to be spent on helping public bodies across Staffordshire share buildings and sell off their under-used or empty properties.
The money could go towards pulling together teams of experts, paying to market the sites, attending trade fairs and securing planning permission so the land is more attractive to potential developers.
Staffordshire County Council today welcomed the investment, which builds on its Penda property partnership with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and Kier.
