Stafford Borough Council plans to increase parking charges in Stone

Traders and community leaders have raised concerns over plans to increase car parking charges in their town.
Stafford Borough Council will decide this week whether to bring in the changes for one, two and four-hour stays in Stone.
But calls are being for the authority to keep the rates as they are amid fears any hike will have a negative impact on footfall.
It previously held a consultation on the proposals, which will also affect Stafford.
