Sproatley farm worker Charles Peyman jailed for series of sex crimes against girl



An East Yorkshire farm worker who committed a series of sex crimes against a teenage girl has been jailed for almost seven years.
Charles Peyman, 32, carried out the offences over several months and, when first arrested by police, denied any illegal sexual activity had taken place. He only confessed to the raft of crimes when he was quizzed by officers a second time several weeks later.
This week Peyman, of Tradesmans Row, Sproatley, was sent to prison after pleading guilty to seven counts of sexual activity with a child and one charge of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.... read more
