Speeding student jailed after leaving cyclist with life-changing injuries
 

A university student whose speeding motorbike struck a factory worker as she was on a pedestrian crossing - leaving her with life changing injuries - was today jailed.
Andrew Donnelly, of Mount Road, Upton, struck 60-year-old Vivienne Edwards on Leasowe Road, Wallasey, on September 16 last year.
Ms Edwards is still recovering from her injuries more than a year after the accident and is housebound, Liverpool Crown Court heard today.
