Spain omit Juan Mata, Cesc Fabregas and Iker Casillas for World Cup qualifiers against Italy and Albania

Juan Mata, Iker Casillas and Cesc Fabregas all missed out as Spain head coach Julen Lopetegui named his squad for two upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Manchester United's Mata has been impressing on the domestic front this term but has not done enough to win a place in the 23-man party, which includes Chelsea's Diego Costa.
The striker's club team-mate Fabregas does not feature, having struggled to break into the Stamford Bridge starting XI under Antonio Conte, while Lopetegui prefers Sevilla stopper Sergio Rico over Casillas for games against Italy and Albania.
