South Tyneside folk urged to show red card to racism



People across South Tyneside are being encouraged to wear red and give racism the boot.
Anti-racism education charity Show Racism the Red Card is calling on schools, workplaces and individuals to get involved in this year’s Wear Red Day on 21 October.
South Tyneside Council has already pledged its support to the initiative which encourages people to wear something red for the day and donate £1 to the charity.
