South Cumbria sponsored ride raises thousands for charity



Some 50 riders of all ages got involved in Furness Riding for the Disabled Association's sponsored ride at Holker Hall.
The charity runs horse riding sessions for children with disabilities during term time at Seaview Riding School, on Walney.
Lord and Lady Cavendish, who own the Holker Hall Estate, give the charity use of the estate for the sponsored ride each year and the day is Furness RDA's biggest fundraising event of the year.
