South Africa’s batsmen ‘don’t have a clue’ how to perform in English conditions, according to Bob Willis.
After England won the series opener at Lord’s by 211 runs, Faf du Plessis’ side hit back at Trent Bridge to level the series.
But the hosts restored their lead in south London this week, bowling South Africa out for 175 and 252 to clinch an emphatic victory and go 2-1 up with one match to play.
‘These guys are okay in South African conditions,’ Willis told Sky Sports after England’s 239-run triumph at The Oval.
