A SONG written by a young waiter in memory of a friend killed in a car crash has become an internet hit.
Matt McAllister’s performance of Scottish Winds has been watched almost 90,000 times on Facebook, with more hits on YouTube.
The waiter, from Campbeltown, Argyll, wrote the song to record his feelings about Scott Morrison, who was just 19 when he died in 2013.
Scott’s mum Helen and his friends feature in the video of Matt’s song.
The tune’s growing popularity has led to it being released as a single on iTunes.
