A cheating son took £27,000 from his dementia-ridden mother and then carried on after she died.
Keen angler Gary Dawson was jailed for three years today (Monday) for getting his hands on a total of £76,000 of the Bulwell widow's cash in 19 months.
Judge Nigel Godsmark QC told him: "You had full power of attorney but even before that, you were taking money.
"Once you had power of attorney, you were in a position of trust. As executor, you were expected to act for the beneficiaries.
