So hot right now! American visitors to Iceland set to OUTNUMBER the native population this year

Temperatures in Iceland might be on the chilly side right now but on the tourism front, the country is feeling the heat.
Visitor numbers have grown threefold since 2010, due to new, low-cost flight routes and alluring photographs flooding social media.
This year, the Icelandic Tourist Board says American tourists will outnumber locals for the first time in history.
Approximately 332,000 people live in Iceland, and to date 325,000 Americans have visited the Nordic island.
By the time December comes around this number is set to increase by around 20,000.
