SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon says she won't consider IndyRef2 until dust settles after Brexit



Nicola Sturgeon has backed off setting a timetable for another referendum on Scottish independence until there is more clarity on the UK's future relationship with the European Union after Brexit.
Sturgeon had previously said she wanted a second referendum held between autumn 2018 and March 2019. That decision came after most Scots voted to remain in the EU while the rest of the UK voted to leave.
The SNP leader hoped to capitalise on pro-EU feeling in Scotland by pushing for another independence vote after narrowly losing the 2014 referendum.
