Smalling relishing Rooney's Manchester United captain's job under Mourinho

Stand in Manchester United captain Chris Smalling was ready to be a Red leader.
Wayne Rooney's axing from Jose Mourinho's starting line up for the last four matches has seen the Old Trafford boss hand the armband to the defender.
It is a job he's had on a temporary basis before but the Londoner, who'll be 27 next month, is relishing his senior status.
