Another thing I find fascinating is how great detail can be drawn from such small clues.
In the background of my photo of protesting Gateway schoolgirls marching past Leicester Clock Tower was a number 32 bus, which caught the eye of reader Robert Kemp.
“The bus in your feature was a Leyland PD3/1, but with a Willowbrook body,” writes Mr Kemp, of Kings Norton.
“It entered service in July 1958 but became the first PD3 to be withdrawn in February 1972, when ownership passed to Leicester Water Company, or some such-named undertaking.
