Small Business Saturday looks forward to a record spend as more love local
 

Last year’s shoppers splashed out £623 million on the day, 24 per cent up on 2014 in the national grassroots initiative and that shines a light on the quality and variety of small traders in the heart of communities.
Confidence is high among the sector according to the campaign backed by American Express, TalkTalk Business and Vistaprint. Its research found 71 per cent of enterprises reporting growth in the last year and 79 per cent optimistic for 2017.
