Skateboarder takeover of Llandudno art gallery



Skateboarders and hipsters have taken over a Victorian art gallery in Llandudno.
People clutching longboards and scooters have been seeing heading to the Mostyn gallery to explore the area’s rich skating history.
The present exhibition, called The Plaza, goes back to the time when people came from far and wide to skate the legendary Soupbowl which is now the car park at Venue Cymru.
In Gallery 4, objects have been modified to be rideable by skateboard, rollerblade or scooter.
