Sixty-nine-year-old woman dies after collision with van



Police have launched an investigation after a 69-year-old pedestrian died following a collision with a van.
Emergency services were called to Congleton Road in Marton – close to the Davenport Arms pub – just before 8.55pm on Sunday.
The injured woman, from Rushton Spencer, was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, but later passed away.
Now Cheshire Police is appealing for witnesses over the collision which involved a blue Vauxhall van.
