The inventor of the 5:2 diet has given ECHO readers his top tips for healthy living.
Michael Mosley, a TV presenter and journalist, came up with the famous diet - which advises people to cut their calorie intake for two days a week.
He said dieters don’t need to cut out fat and shouldn’t worry about weighing themselves.
Mr Mosley spoke to the ECHO to encourage Liverpool residents to sign up for a study being carried out by John Moores University for BBC programme Trust Me I’m A Doctor, which he presents.
