Sir Paul McCartney gets a little help from his friend... Neil Young
 

The former Beatle, 74, duetted with Neil Young, right, during his Saturday set at the Desert Trip festival in Indio, California. 
The pair sang the Fab Four’s 1967 classic A Day In The Life and John Lennon’s composition Give Peace A Chance. 
Desert Trip started on Friday when Bob Dylan, 75, opened for The Rolling Stones – whose set covered more than 50 year’s worth of material.
Last night Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, 73, supported The Who to bring an end to the weekend. 
Tickets for the event cost up to £1,285 for a three-day VIP ticket.
