Sick kids' vision helps secure Scotland's first surgical microscope
 

SICK kids have helped secure Scotland’s first surgical microscope for children.
The £150,000 equipment at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, which will improve the treatment of thousands of youngsters, was campaigned for by kids who have had life-changing surgery themselves.
Medics say the microscope, funded by a single donation to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, will help thousands of kids recover faster from procedures such as facial reconstruction, tumour removal, limb reconstruction and cleft surgery.
