Walk round the streets of many of Britain's biggest towns and cities in the evening and you'll see queues of young people waiting outside curry houses and pizzerias.
But they are not waiting to eat. Instead, these are couriers for the firm Deliveroo – the takeaway delivery service.
Its bikes and mopeds toting black boxes with a picture of a kangaroo have become a regular sight as the firm has soared in popularity. 
The most successful restaurants are building mobile kitchens in car parks and yards to cope with demand.
