Should 'dreadful' M&S plan be approved for Stone?



Controversial plans to build an M&S store in a town are to be discussed by councillors at a meeting tonight.
Developer Liberty Properties has drawn up plans for the M&S Foodhall within part of Stone's Westbridge Park.
The multi-million pound development - which includes a cafe and car park - will create 45 jobs.
But Stone Town Council has previously hit out at the 'dreadful' plans for the store.
The authority's complaints include the building being 'enormous', excessive noise, the loss of three tennis courts, and the impact on existing businesses in the town.
