Shots fired at house after arson attack at same property



Shots were fired at a house after an apparent arson attack on the same property in Dingle .
The property in Grafton Street was shot at just after 11.30pm on Tuesday and a ground floor window was damaged in the fire.
Police descended on the scene, where they remained this morning, and found damage “consistent with a firearms discharge” to a ground floor window alongside a discarded bottle of “accelerant.”
Fortunately, people living in the home managed to put the fire out and stop it spreading but scorch marks were left on the window frame.
