Shopkeeper paid £766k of cash intended for CASINO goes on two year spending spree
 

A shopkeeper took more than £750,000 and went on a spending spree after payments intended for a CASINO were mistakingly paid into his account.
Sandeep Singh, 34,bought a new house with this unexpected cash and also transferred £80,000 to India.
He has now been jailed for 12 months after admitting the payment theft which spanned a period of two years.
Singh, of Kashmir Road, Leicester, admitted theft of £766,098 between October 2014 and October 2016, reports the Leicester Mercury.
