Shock as massive wasps nest discovered in attic



Startled workers found a giant wasps nest in an attic of their business premises.
It is thought the nest – which is about 42in (just over one metre) round – has been empty for some time.
It was discovered by the team at Shreddies, a firm that makes pants which filter out the whiff of people's farts, at their headquarters at Cotes Mill, just north of Loughborough.
Common wasps have been terrorising parks, gardens, streets and playgrounds for weeks as the summer draws to an end.
